About the Author

My name is Junior Lowman and I would just like to share a little about myself with you.         I begun working in the furniture delivery industry in 1979, and after working with several furniture delivery freight and moving service in 1993 I started running my own moving service All Amaze Moving. Even though it’s very hard work (moving) that requires a lot of physical energy/skills, I must say it is something I really enjoy doing, as a owner/operator getting to meet with customers personally evryday, and just being out door (truck driving) and on the road, it’s something I look forward to . I don’t enjoy gridlock (traffic backups).

Because of age and physical conditions, I am unable to do much lifting and physical work (moving), but still wanted to help serve customers in some way, and this Save Moving Cost moving guide is just that way. This is my genuine way (from the heart) of helping you move, while not actually doing the physical moving. I have also spoken and worked with many customers throughout the years, listening to their concerns, trying to understand their moving problems, and coming up with ways to help them, teaching and showing them an easier way to move and save money at the same time. As a owner/operator I have worked and contracted with several moving services, home delivery services, and freight haulers throughout the years of being in the moving industry, and as a mover, I have personally seen what customers goes through everyday with moving and delivery services, also what problems movers have with customers, and I believe I can be of help to you with your moving situation. I wrote about moving based on my observation, research and most of all my desire to try and help customers with my personal knowledge and experience of the moving business. I also don’t mind doing actual moving, the physical exercise keeps me fit, I feel like I don’t need a gym, “I can’t help if I feel young”, but that’s another story (laugh).

However as was stated earlier in the last couple of years my body, through continuous heavy lifting bending and strenuous work is not as sturdy as it used to be, and I can’t do as much as I did before, but I still own and manage my moving service All Amaze Moving in the Washington D.C metro area, and stay up to date with the moving industry.
